Dr. Joanna H. Ng-Glazier is a double board-certified plastic surgeon whose work is guided by precision and a deep respect for each patient’s long-term well-being.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Ng-Glazier’s medical education and training took place at some of the country’s most respected institutions.
She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in General Surgery at Boston Medical Center, where she cared for complex trauma patients and developed a strong foundation in critical surgical decision-making.
She then completed a research fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where her award-winning work in nerve regeneration gained international recognition. Her training culminated in a Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), one of the nation’s leading programs, where she refined both her technical skill and leadership abilities.
